2020 Pinewood Derby

Date:  Tuesday, January 28th

Location: Founders Hall, First United Methodist Church (where we meet)

Time: Check in between 5:30 - 6 PM, Heat races will start at 6:15 PM.

What: All cars will run 4 heats to ensure that their car runs in every lane of the track (in case one lane is faster). The races are electronically timed and the top 3 cars overall will receive a trophy. There will also be a medal for the fastest car from each den. The scouts all vote on the Best Car Design award and Leaders will vote for the Scout showing the most spirit and sportsmanship. Each participant will receive a Pinewood derby ribbon for building and racing a car. More derby info can be found here. 

Food & Drinks: We will have food and drinks in a potluck style. Den Leaders will let each den know what to bring,
